CAPE VERDE - BOA VISTA

Hi everyone! I hope, you enjoyed your holiday. Maybe, some of you visited some interesting places like I . I visited CAPE VERDE, specifically one of 10 settled islands called BOA VISTA . I really like this place, so I decided to write to you something about it! J

CAPE VERDE

Cape Verde (Portuguese: Cabo Verde, Creole: Kabu Verdi) lies in Atlantic ocean 450 kilometers from senegal Dakar. Cape verde includes 10 bigger and 8 smaller islands. More than half of inhabitants live on Island called Santiago, where also lies capital city Praia. Cape verde were discovered in 15 century by portuguese. The official language is Portuguese, but inhabitants use Creole language too.

BOA VISTA

Boa vista is the 3th biggest and easternmost Island of Cape verde. In the middle of the island is desert, with white sand. The capital city is Sal Rei (very nice small town). 

Here you can find 60 kilometres of white sandy beach - Ponta Varadinha, Cabo Santa Maria,Praia de Cheva, Estoril and also one of the most beautiful beach called SANTA MONICA

Inhabitants of Boa Vista. Here, people are very kind, talkative and hard-working.

Ceramic production

On the east coast you can see the endangered species of turtles Caretta. They are here under the strict supervision of the Defender.
